This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It covers paid plans, which open on 15 November 2026. Until then nothing is charged. EMEs use Be Boaz free, so none of this applies to them.
Your first payment back under the Boaz First-Month Guarantee
Upload 3 supplier certificates and your year's figures in your first 7 days. If Boaz isn't worth it to you by day 30, email us and we'll refund your first month in full. One refund per company.
On the annual plan, the same conditions refund the whole R9,500.
You qualify if all of these are true:
- 3 supplier certificates are logged in Be Boaz by day 7 after your first payment.
- Your year's figures are saved in the scorecard by day 7 after your first payment.
- You ask by day 30 after your first payment.
- Your company, by registration number, hasn't had a guarantee refund before.
Day 7 and day 30 count from the day your first payment goes through. Certificates and figures you added before you paid, for example while Be Boaz was free, count toward the first two.
You don't have to give a reason. On the monthly plan you get your first month's payment back; on the annual plan, the whole annual payment. The refund ends your paid plan, and your data stays until you delete it or close your account.
Ask by email, and we'll answer within 2 business days
Email info@beboaz.co.za from the address on your account, with your company name and “Refund” in the subject line. You can also call 071 678 4010. Within 2 business days we'll tell you whether you qualify and, if you don't, which condition wasn't met.
Guarantee and cooling-off refunds reach your card within 30 days
We send an approved guarantee or cooling-off refund to the card you paid with within 5 business days. Your bank may take a few more days to show it on your statement. Either way, the money reaches you within 30 days of your request.
Ending the annual plan under CPA section 14 works differently, because you give 20 business days' notice first. We send that refund within 5 business days after the notice period ends.
Cancel any time, and you won't be charged again
Cancel from your account, or email us. Cancelling stops the next payment, and you keep full use of Be Boaz until the end of the month or year you've paid for. Then the plan ends and your account becomes read-only: you can sign in and see your records, and your data stays until you delete it or close your account.
On the annual plan, we email you between 40 and 80 business days before it renews, so you have time to decide.
What we don't refund
- The rest of a month or year after you cancel. You keep using Be Boaz until it ends instead.
- Payments after your first one, unless one of the legal rights below applies.
- A second guarantee refund for the same company.
- A payment you've already had back through a chargeback.
When the change is on our side, we refund unused time
If we close your account for a reason other than a breach of our terms, or stop offering Be Boaz, we refund the part of your paid period you haven't used. The same applies if we change our terms in a way you don't accept and you cancel before the change takes effect.
The law gives some customers extra rights to cancel
These rights come from the law, so the guarantee's conditions don't apply to them. To use one, email us as you would for a refund and say which right you're using.
- ECTA section 44. If you're a natural person, such as a sole proprietor, you can cancel within 7 days of buying a plan, without a reason or penalty, and we refund you in full within 30 days. We honour this even if you've started using the plan.
- CPA section 16. If the Consumer Protection Act applies to you and you bought after we marketed to you directly, you can cancel within 5 business days of buying. Where this and ECTA both apply, you get whichever period ends later.
- CPA section 14. If the Consumer Protection Act applies to you, you can end the annual plan at any time on 20 business days' notice. We refund what you paid for the year, less R950 for each month or part of a month up to the end of the notice period. If your notice period ends in month 4, you get R9,500 − 4 × R950 = R5,700 back. We send it within 5 business days after the notice period ends. When the year ends, the plan continues month to month unless you choose another year.
The CPA covers natural persons, and juristic persons (companies, close corporations, partnerships and trusts) whose annual turnover and asset value are both under R2 million. Most companies on a paid plan are above that, so for them the First-Month Guarantee is the refund that applies.
